Why use KLIPKAST if you already have vMix?
vMix is powerful live-production and encoding software, and it can receive supported network inputs and send streams using formats such as RTMP and SRT. A production workstation, however, serves a different role from an always-on streaming server. KLIPKAST can receive and manage streams from vMix and other sources, maintain pull and push workflows, provide fallback URLs, DVR and archives, monitoring, PlayBox, overlays, server-side transcoding and multi-protocol output. vMix can produce the live program while KLIPKAST manages the server-side streaming operation.
